Laredo, TX — July 17, 2023, Ana Laura Garza was killed following a car accident early Monday morning along Los Presidentes Avenue.
According to information released by Laredo Police officials, the incident took place at approximately 8:00 a.m. along Los Presidentes Avenue at the intersection of Dorado Drive.
Investigators said that 59-year-old Ana Laura Garza was on foot at the time when, for reasons which are not entirely clear at this time, a vehicle struck her. As a result of this collision, Garza sustained fatal injuries.
Authorities say the driver involved in the collision remained at the scene. There is no indication at this time of any pending charges or citations. Additional details surrounding the fatal accident are still under investigation.
