Bexar County, TX — September 27, 2023, one person was injured as the result of an alleged drunk driver accident at 11:00 p.m. along Interstate 10.
Authorities said in their preliminary statements that the accident happened in the area of Presidio Parkway along southbound lanes of the interstate.
It appears that the victim was a 20-year-old Converse man who was on a Honda motorcycle. From behind, authorities say that a BMW following too closely crashed into the back of the motorcycle, throwing the rider into the roadway. As a result, the motorcyclist had incapacitating injuries.

In more recent statements, the authorities included information that the driver of the BMW was under the influence of alcohol, and there was a recommendation for intoxication assault. One thing they didn’t say, however, is where the driver was prior to the crash. Were they coming from a local bar or restaurant? Because if they over-served the driver, authorities may have more charges to file. Hopefully nothing like that is going overlooked.
