McKinney, TX — June 28, 2023, Alicia Benavidez sustained injuries following a car accident that happened at around 5:00 p.m. on McDonald Street.
Authorities said that they were called out to the area of the McDonald Street (Highway 5) and East Louisiana Street intersection.
According to officials, 34-year-old Alicia Benavidez was in a Honda CR-V that was going southbound along McDonald. While crossing the intersection, the Honda crashed with a Dodge Durango in the southbound left turn lane. Benavidez’s vehicle then crashed with an eastbound Nissan Armada.
As a result of the collision, Benavidez sustained incapacitating injuries. It’s unclear whether or not there were other injuries. Details from authorities cannot be confirmed at this time pending more thorough investigations.
