El Paso, TX — June 16, 2023, Alfredo Dominguez was killed following an alleged hit-and-run accident at around 7:00 p.m. along Emory Drive.

Authorities indicated that the incident took place in the 4500 block of Emory Drive near the intersection of Bird Avenue just off Doniphan Drive.

Investigators say that 35-year-old Alfredo Dominguez was with his dog at the time along Emory at the time. From Emory, authorities say that a Maserati going at a high speed lost control. The vehicle crashed with multiple objects before hitting Dominguez and his dog.

Due to the collision, Dominguez and his dog both sustained fatal injuries. In current reports, authorities say the driver of the Mazerati attempted to flee. Authorities say they arrested that driver and determined they were intoxicated at the time of the collision. That driver is said to be facing charges for intoxication manslaughter and accident involving personal injury or death. No further information is available at this time.
