Bexar County, TX — March 30, 2025, Alex Atenco, Alyssa Diaz, Omar Atenco, and another person were injured in a car accident at 9:15 p.m. on F.M. 1560.
According to authorities, 22-year-old Omar Atenco and 23-year-old Alyssa Diaz were traveling in a southbound Dodge Challenger on Farm to Market 1560 at the Galm Road intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a northbound Honda CR-V occupied by a 72-year-old man attempted a left turn onto Galm at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right-of-way to oncoming traffic. A collision consequently took place between the CR-V, the Challenger, and a southbound Yamaha motorcycle occupied by 26-year-old Alex Atenco.
Alex Atenco and Alyssa Diaz each sustained serious injuries over the course of the accident. Omar Atenco and the man who had been bhind the wheel of the CR-V suffered minor injuries, as well, reports state.
