Dallas, TX — June 24, 2024, Alberto Valenciana was injured following a truck accident at approximately 4:15 p.m. along R.L. Thornton Freeway, I.H. 30.
According to authorities, 19-year-old Alberto Valenciana was traveling on a Yamaha motorcycle in the left-most lane of westbound Interstate Highway 30 in the vicinity east of Dolphin Road when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a westbound International 18-wheeler with a trailer in tow shifted into the left-most lane at an apparently unsafe time; this resulted in a collision between the right side of the motorcycle and the back-left side of the 18-wheeler’s trailer. Valenciana incurred apparently serious injuries due to the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
