Hendricks County, IN — June 7, 2023, Alan Blackledge was killed and one other was injured in a truck accident around 11:15 a.m. on U.S. Hwy. 36 in Hendricks County.

According to officials, the victims were westbound in a Chevrolet pickup truck while a Freightliner with an oversized load was eastbound. The two vehicles allegedly collided head-on near the intersection with S.R. 75.

Mr. Blackledge was fatally injured, and a passenger in his Chevy purportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The semi-truck driver was reportedly uninjured.

Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
