Centerville, OH — June 13, 2023, a 9-year-old pedestrian was killed in a collision with a construction truck around 3 p.m. on S. Main St. in Centerville.
According to officials, the 9-year-old was walking across S. Main St. to Stoning Circle from the center median when he was struck by a northbound Peterbilt semi-truck. The child suffered fatal injuries.
The truck driver reportedly stayed at the scene and is fully cooperating with authorities, however, authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
