Frisco, TX — May 31, 2025, a 7-year-old girl was killed in a reported drowning accident at around 8:46 p.m. off Preston Road.
Preliminary details from authorities say that the accident occurred at a pond near businesses on the northwest corner of Preston Road TX-121, which appears to include the Stonebriar Mall at the Bridges.
Authorities say they were called to the scene after a 7-year-old reportedly became separated from her parents. That child was reportedly found in the pond at around 9:19 p.m. The girl was pronounced deceased following transport to a hospital.
Right now, the exact circumstances leading up to the incident remain under investigation.
