Fort Worth, TX — July 22, 2023, a 64-year-old pedestrian was injured in a collision with a semi-truck around 4:55 p.m. on N. Commerce St. in Fort Worth.
Officials report the victim was standing next to an open metal gate when a southbound semi-truck reportedly hit the gate and caused it to swing quickly into the pedestrian. The woman was reportedly knocked to the ground and suffered severe injuries.
The tractor-trailer allegedly fled the accident scene.
Police are reportedly working with witnesses and the public in order to find the perpetrator.
