Gainesville, TX — September 3, 2023, a 27-year-old driver was injured in a commercial truck accident around 5:08 p.m. on Throckmorton St. in Gainesville.
Authorities report the victim’s GMC terrain was southbound while a Jenworth tractor-trailer was northbound on Throckmorton St. when the two vehicles collided. Officials say the driver’s side of the Terrian’s nose struck the driver’s side of the Kenworth’s trailer near the rear axle.
The victim purportedly suffered serious injuries.
Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
