Spartanburg County, SC — April 17, 2023, 2 people were killed and 9 others were injured in a van accident on I-26 in Spartanburg County.
According to officials, a 2000 Dodge van was traveling westbound when somehow veered off the road toward the passenger side, struck a guard rail, reentered the roadway, and then overturned. All 11 passengers were taken to a medical center where two victims later succumbed to their injuries.
Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
