How Did This Accident Occur?

When vehicles going the same direction crash, people tend to assume it’s something simple like a driver on their phone or fatigue. However, commercial truck wrecks can involve all kinds of factors. I’ve been a part of literally hundreds of commercial vehicle accident investigations, and everything from unsafe working hours to vehicle defects to cargo shifts to medical conditions need to be considered.

This is where families need to be sure to follow up with authorities. If it seems like authorities aren’t asking the right questions or are overlooking complex or unusual factors, they might miss something important. If they can address a family’s concerns and questions, though, they’re likely doing good work. It’s up to those affected by the crash to determine if and when they should bring in independent professionals to go over the details.

I see no reason right now why that wouldn’t be true with this crash. If there’s important context I should know about, however, let me know in the comments.
