An investigation is underway following an 18-wheeler accident that left one person injured during the morning hours of February 13th. According to official reports, an 18-wheeler was traveling on I-85 near Doyle Blvd. when for unknown reasons the truck overturned.
When first responders arrived on the scene they found that the driver had sustained injuries and they were transported to the hospital for treatment. In a case like this, investigators should examine roadway conditions, speed, traffic patterns, and whether any external factors—such as sudden maneuvers to avoid obstacles—played a role. Additionally, the truck’s cargo load should be reviewed, as improperly secured or unbalanced freight can contribute to rollovers. If these aspects aren’t fully analyzed, key details could be missed.
The second question is whether a vehicle defect played a role.
