Baltimore, MD — June 17, 2023, at least 17 people were injured when an MTA bus collided with a building around 10: 20 a.m. on W. Franklin St. in the Seton Hill neighborhood.
Authorities report a Lexus ran a red light at high speeds when it struck at least one vehicle in the intersection of N. Paca St. and W. Franklin St. The Maryland Transportation Authority (MTA) bus driver purportedly attempted an evasive maneuver that resulted in the bus striking a Nissan and then an apartment building at the 500 block of West Franklin Street.
The bus driver and 16 others were transported to hospitals for treatment.
