Coconino County, AZ — August 20, 2023, a 14-year-old and an 11-year-old were killed and a 5-year-old was injured in a truck accident around 9:10 a.m. on I-40 in Coconino County.
According to officials, a rollover crash occurred on westbound Interstate 40 involving a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle.
A 14-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl, who were passengers in the smaller vehicle, were killed. A 5-year-old child was also taken to the hospital for medical attention.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident, and the cause of the crash has not been disclosed at this time.
