Sources report the victim was riding an electric bike on a sidewalk when the bike overturned and ejected him into the southbound lane of Gulf Shores Pkwy. Then a southbound garbage truck reportedly struck the child. The victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
