Lubbock, TX — June 4, 2023, Rickey Morrison was killed as the result of a pedestrian accident late Sunday along Parkway Drive.
Preliminary details released by the Lubbock Police Department indicated that the collision happened in the area of the Parkway Drive and MLK Jr. Boulevard.
According to officials, 60-year-old Rickey Morrison was walking northward across the westbound travel lane when a westbound vehicle struck and critically injured him.
Morrison was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. No other injuries were reported.
