Further details can’t be confirmed right now, but it wouldn’t surprise me if some people already jumped to conclusions. When it comes to motorcycle accidents, people are often biased, and they don’t consider anything other than the possibility the rider is 100% to blame. That’s obviously possible, but so are other extenuating circumstances that often go overlooked. Were there mechanical issues? Is this a deadly stretch of road? Was the driver illegally over-served by an alcohol provider? Did some other reckless driver leave the scene? Is there missing signage or lighting in the area? Likely or not, a proper accident reconstruction should at least be able to rule out these complex possible factors. Otherwise, there’s no telling what might slip through the cracks.
