UPDATE (July 17, 2025): Authorities say they have arrested a 20-year-old woman as the alleged shooter. There appear to be pending charges for aggravated robbery. Investigations continue.
Irving, TX — June 7, 2025, three people were injured as the result of a shooting that happened outside of a Waffle House at around 6:15 a.m.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened outside the Waffle House at 2000 E Irving Boulevard.
In their statements, it’s unclear what led up to the shooting. Authorities say they arrived at the scene to find one person seriously injured and two with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities say suspects fled the scene, and suspects have yet to be identified.
Investigations are ongoing.

Shootings like this can be rather complex because there could be more to the investigations than just charging the shooters. There may also need to be an investigation into the location where the shooting occurred. While violence like this isn’t always foreseeable, some places see enough incidents that the property owners have a duty to their guests and employees to make the location safer. If those steps aren’t taken, important details might slip through the cracks.
