Abilene, TX — August 2, 2024, three people were injured following a two-vehicle car accident sometime in the evening along Elmdale Road.
According to authorities, the accident took place between two separate vehicles on Elmdale Road, one of which was a pickup truck according to photographs of the scene which have been published in the news.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that one of the people involved in the accident was entrapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. Three people suffered injuries of unknown severity, according to reports; they were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identities of the victims—are not available at this point in time.
