Harford County, MD — June 12, 2024, one person was injured following a two-truck accident at approximately 3:00 am. along Interstate Highway 95.
According to authorities, emergency personnel were already in the area at the time of the crash in order to investigate and begin clean up of a fuel spill.
Nearby, officials indicate that for as yet unknown reasons, one 18-wheeler collided with the rear-end of the trailer of another 18-wheeler. One person was reportedly severely entrapped in the wreckage; it took emergency personnel just over two hours to free them, at which point they were immediately transported to a medical center by EMS in order to receive treatment for their injuries.
