How Did This Accident Occur?

The need for a full crash investigation is apparent in a situation like this, where so little information has been made public.

We don’t know anything about how the Buick and the Telsa came into contact, or why. Those are the questions that must be answered by investigators. They will have evidence from the scene, data from both vehicles and any available camera footage to piece together what happened.

Was one of the drivers distracted? Did someone make an improper move? Did either vehicle have a mechanical issue that contributed to the crash?

The investigation, by police or a third party, must provide answers that satisfy the families of those affected by this crash/
