Hartley County, TX — October 15, 2024, a woman was injured as the result of a commercial truck accident at around 7:47 p.m. along Farm-to-Market 281.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened in the area of U.S. 87/385 just southeast of Dalhart.
Investigators said that a 38-year-old woman was a passenger in a Chevy Trailblazer going eastbound on F.M. 281. That vehicle crossed paths and collided with a Western Star truck that was going westbound. As a result of the accident, the woman in the Trailblazer was seriously injured.
Authorities allege that the Chevy driver left the scene. Right now, no further information is available.
