Bolton, MA — December 12, 2023, at least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle truck accident at about 9:20 a.m. along I-495.
According to reports, the accident took place in the northbound lanes of Interstate 495 in the vicinity of the Main Street exit.
The cause of the accident is unknown. The number of vehicles involved in the accident is still unclear; however, it has been confirmed that an 18-wheeler crashed into the median of the interstate. At least one person was injured as a result of the incident. The interstate had to be shut down in both directions in order to allow space for a medical helicopter to land at the scene. One person was flown to an area hospital with suspected severe injuries in order to receive immediate treatment. It is unclear at this time whether or not any others were injured.
