An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the early morning hours of October 2nd. According to official reports, Steven Whitney was travelling in a Toyota Prius on IH-10 West near FM 3180 when a Audi A6 coming from behind Whitney, failed to maintain their distance and speed and struck the rear of Whitney’s vehicle.
As a result of the impact, the Prius lost control and collided with a concrete barrier. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Whitney had sustained serious injuries and transported him to the hospital.
