Harris County, TX — April 29, 2024, Sonja Kazmierczak was injured in a multi-vehicle car accident at approximately 5:15 p.m. along I.H. 69, Eastex Freeway.
According to reports, 47-year-old Sonja Kazmierczak was traveling in a southbound Mazda stopped in traffic on Eastex Freeway in the vicinity south of Lauder Road when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a southbound Chevrolet Silverado failed to properly control its speed as it attempted to change lanes. This resulted in the pickup truck splitting two lanes, crashing into the Mazda and a Ford F-150 at the same time. It the continued forward, still splitting the lanes, crashing between a Toyota Tundra and a Ford Escape before finally coming to a stop.
Kazmierczak suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck; she was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
