Van Zandt County, TX — January 6, 2024, three people sustained injuries following a single-vehicle car accident at around 2:00 a.m. on County Road 4106.
Preliminary information about the accident say that it happened in the area of County Roads 4106 and 4107, southeast of Canton just off Highway 64.
According to officials, four teenagers were in a Dodge Charger which was reportedly going southbound along County Road 4106. At a curve in the road, the Charger apparently went off the side of the road, over a private driveway, and into a tree along the driveway.
Due to the collision, the three passengers in the car had injuries, some of which were described as serious. The driver apparently was not hurt in the crash. Right now, additional details about the crash remain unconfirmed pending investigations.
