West Memphis, AR — June 7, 2023, Shameicka Prince was killed as the result of a truck accident just before noon along Interstate 55.

Preliminary information provided by the Arkansas Department of Public Safety indicates that the crash took place at approximately 11:59 a.m. in the area of southbound I-55 mile marker 1.

Shameicka Prince Killed in Truck Accident in West Memphis, AR

Details at this time suggest that 40-year-old Shameicka Prince was in a Cadillac CTS traveling southbound. For reasons which are not currently clear, the Cadillac and a Peterbilt semi truck collided. After this collision, the semi-truck’s trailer crashed with a nearby Dodge Ram.

As a result of the crash, Prince sustained fatal injuries. It’s not clear at this time if anyone else was injured due to the crash. Factors leading up to the crash are not clear at this time as investigations are ongoing.
