Obviously, it’s important for authorities to know the facts surrounding what caused a given crash. But some details I’m seeing may highlight an area that authorities too often overlook: What caused the injuries? Here’s why I say this.
Generally speaking, when two vehicles similar in size collide, people involved will at least have comparable injuries. Here, one person died, and apparently no one else was even hurt. Considering authorities said nothing of the deceased victim not wearing a seatbelt or anything like that, why were the injuries here so serious for only one person? Sometimes, the answer is that something which should have prevented those injuries failed to do its job. Shouldn’t a serious defect like that at least get attention from investigators?
That’s why I have to wonder if investigations here are actually thorough. While I certainly don’t know more about this crash than what’s already publicly available, I’m skeptical that the information that is known is actually being handled properly. Is there a family out there still in the dark about what really led to this deadly accident?
