Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
One of the challenges with accidents like this is the involvement of a government or commercial interest. With government entities, there can be special rules and hoops to jump through. Sometimes, that can include deadlines as short as 90 days to begin a legal claim. With commercial interests, there are teams of professionals dedicated to avoiding responsibility and shifting the blame.
That’s why it’s important victims and families have as much evidence as possible and unique legal tools and strategy to help them navigate that legal maze. I don’t see why this crash would be an exception.
