Miami County, OH — September 21, 2023, Sandra Willis was killed and one was injured due to a semi-truck accident at around 6:00 a.m. along I-75.
Investigations at this time show that the crash happened along the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 in the Monroe Township area.
According to officials, 42-year-old Sandra Willis was in Dodge Charger traveling I-75. Ahead, an incident occurred where a semi-truck somehow lost control and crashed into the concrete median barrier. This left the truck reportedly going slowly partially in the left lane of travel. There, Willis’s vehicle crashed into the slow-moving truck. This pushed the Dodge into a Chevy Equinox, causing a second collision.
Willis was apparently ejected during the accidents, and she ultimately succumbed to fatal injuries. One person in the Chevy had apparently non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported. Currently, additional details about the crash are unavailable.
