Union County, AR — December 1, 2024, Samy Espinoza was killed following a car accident that occurred at around 7:17 P.M. on Agnes Rd.
Authorities are investigating after a single vehicle accident proved fatal for 25-year-old Samy Espinoza of El Dorado. According to reports from officials, Espinoza was travelling in a Nissan Maxima in the eastbound lanes of Agnes Rd. when for unknown reasons the vehicle reportedly crossed the center line and entered the westbound lanes and struck a tree before then overturning.
When first responders arrived on the scene they found that the Nissan had suffered severe damage, and that Espinoza had sustained critical injuries which she succumbed to. It is unclear at this time what led to the vehicle crossing into the opposite lane, however this remains an active investigation where more details may be released in the future.
