Accident Report
Martin County, TX — March 9, 2026, Samuel Lookadoo was killed in a car accident at about 6:30 a.m. on State Highway 349 south of Patricia.
Authorities said a southbound 2010 Cadillac SRX overcorrected after drifting off the side of the road and collided with a northbound Mercedes near County Road 4800.
Mercedes driver Samuel Jones Lookadoo, 46, of Lubbock was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.
The Cadillac driver was hospitalized with minor injuries after the crash, authorities said.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Martin County crash at this time.
