Cooke County, TX — July 25, 2025, Samantha Anderson was injured as the result of a motorcycle accident at around 11:00 p.m. along I-35.
Initial details about the accident say it happened in the area of I-35 and Corporate Drive in south Gainesville.
According to officials, 29-year-old Samantha Anderson was on a Honda motorcycle going southbound along the interstate. In a series of events which aren’t clear, the motorcycle, a Chevy Equinox, and a semi-truck crossed paths and collided.
Due to the accident, Samantha Anderson reportedly was seriously injured. No other injuries were reported. At this time, additional details about the crash remain unconfirmed.

Whatever happened here, my hope is just that the investigations are thorough and handled properly. Unfortunately, that’s far from a guarantee when motorcyclists are involved in an accident. A lot of people have a negative bias against riders, and even authorities sometimes let that bias stand in the way of getting the facts.
That’s why a lot of families feel more comfortable when there is another of eyes looking over the crash. Sometimes, they can confirm that police did a good job and let the evidence speak for itself. Other times, they can catch mistakes or help fill in gaps that a haphazard preliminary investigation left behind. Either way, victims and families should feel confident their side of the story is going to be told fairly.
