Houston County, AL — June 20, 2023, Ronald Booker was killed as the result of a semi-truck accident at around 1:50 p.m. along Highway 109.
Current information about the fatal truck accident shows that it took place in the area of the Highway 109 and McCallister Road intersection, which is several miles south of Dothan.
According to authorities, 65-year-old Ronald Booker was in an SUV that was traveling along Highway 109. In a series of events still under investigation, the SUV and an oncoming Western Star tractor-trailer collided head-on with each other.
Due to the collision, Booker sustained injuries which ultimately proved to be fatal. He reportedly succumbed to his injuries following transport to a hospital. Right now, there are no others said to have been injured. Authorities continue to investigate the potential factors leading up to the fatal wreck. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
