North Haven, CT — August 16, 2024, two people were injured following a rear-end truck accident at approximately 8:30 p.m. along I.H. 91.
According to authorities, two people were traveling in a passenger vehicle in the northbound lanes of Interstate 91 in the vicinity between Clinton Road and Washington Avenue.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the passenger vehicle rear-ended the trailer of an 18-wheeler, becoming wedged beneath the back and entrapping the occupants.
