Austin, TX — April 12, 2023, Ramon Clemente Nolasco was killed following an accident involving a vehicle that left the scene.
Authorities said that the incident happened in the 9000 block of I-35 at around 7:21 p.m. They say that 62-year-old Ramon Clemente Nolasco was riding a bicycle northbound on the sidewalk along the I-35 service road. While doing so, police believe that a black GMC Yukon hit Nolasco while exiting a driveway. That vehicle then left the scene.
Nolasco sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision.

Police say they’re continuing to search for two people seen in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Hopefully the pictures given in news reports will help someone connect the dots. That’s often how these situations reach a conclusion. Someone recognizes the vehicle and helps authorities identify that person so the victim’s loved ones can get the closure they deserve. I maintain hope that will happen here, as well.
