Tarrant County, TX — July 20, 2024, Quinten Davis and Dimitre Thornton were injured in a car accident just before 8:45 a.m. along Matlock Road.
According to authorities, 21-year-old Quinten Davis and 44-year-old Dimitre Thornton were traveling in a southbound Toyota Scion on Matlock Road at the Secretary Drive intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a northbound Honda Accord on Matlock failed to yield the right of way to the Scion as it attempted a left turn onto Secretary Drive. This resulted in a collision between the front-end of the Honda and the left side of the Toyota. Both Davis and Thornton suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck; they were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
