How Did This Accident Occur?
In my line of work, I aim to keep an open mind about how a crash occurred, especially one involving a semi-truck.
It’s not clear how these two vehicles collided: Did one vehicle rear-end the other, or was there some other contact during a lane change. Maybe one of these vehicles was entering or leaving the highway since the crash occurred near an exit.
All of those questions illustrate the need for a complete investigation of the crash, using evidence from the scene, data from both vehicles and potentially even the cell phones of those involved. That way those who were affected by this crash can take comfort in knowing they know as much as possible about how this accident happened.
