Travis County, TX — November 21, 2023, a pedestrian was fatally injured as the result of a car accident that happened around 3:00 a.m. along F.M. 812.
According to preliminary investigations into the accident, the collision occurred just off of Tollway 130 near the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Officials said that a 55-year-old man was on foot and walking eastbound along F.M. 812. While doing so, a driver in an eastbound Ford Transit van didn’t see the man in time, and the van struck the pedestrian. As a result, the unidentified man succumbed to his injuries.
It appears the driver remained at the scene of the accident, and there is no indication at this time of pending charges or citations. Authorities have yet to release additional details about the accident.
