Harris County, TX — June 3, 2023, Patrick Matherne was injured due to a single-vehicle accident at around 6:27 p.m. along Crosby Freeway.
Authorities released information to the public which says that the incident occurred in the area of the U.S. Highway 90 and Kennings Road intersection.
According to officials, 30-year-old Patrick Matherne was reportedly the driver of a Ford F-350 that was going southbound along the freeway service road. Approaching the Crosby Freeway southbound ramp, the pickup apparently straddled the lanes and crashed into the end of the guardrail.
Following the collision, emergency services transported Matherne to a hospital with injuries that were described as incapacitating. It’s unclear if there was anyone else involved or hurt in the accident. No other vehicles were mentioned. No further information about the crash can be confirmed at this time.
