Bell County, TX — June 3, 2024, Patience Hackney and another person were injured in a car accident shortly after 10:15 p.m. along Clear Creek Road.
According to authorities, 31-year-old Patience Hackney and a 9-year-old girl were traveling in a northbound Ford Focus on Clear Creek Road at the Stan Schlueter Loop intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a southbound Jeep Cherokee attempted a left turn from Clear Creek Road onto Stan Schlueter Loop at an unsafe time, failing to yield the right-of-way to oncoming traffic. A collision consequently occurred between the front-right quarter of the Jeep and the front-end of the Focus.
Hackney and the young girl both reportedly sustained serious injuries over the course of the accident. They were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
