Pheonix, AZ — February 15, 2024, Orianna Nicole Diosdado was killed in a garbage truck accident at approximately 3:30 p.m. along 19th Avenue.
According to authorities, 21-year-old Orianna Nicole Diosdado was crossing the street in a crosswalk at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Union Hills Drive when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that a garbage truck that had been northbound on 19th Avenue was attempting a right turn onto Union Hills Drive when, for unknown reasons, it struck Diosdado as she was crossing. Diosdado reportedly incurred fatal injuries as a result of the accident. She was declared deceased at the scene.
