El Paso, TX — May 5, 2023, Nicholas Novoa was injured due to a car versus trailer accident at around 9:31 p.m. along Emory Road.
Authorities released preliminary details about the accident, which they say happened off the corner of Emory Road and Sunland Park, just south of I-10 near the New Mexico state line.
According to officials, 24-year-old Nicholas Novoa was in a Toyota Tacoma pickup that was going southbound on Emory approaching the dead end. While doing so, the Toyota crashed into the back of a large trailer which details show was parked along the side of Emory.
As a result of the collision, Novoa sustained injuries which were described as incapacitating. There did not appear to be any other injuries resulting from the crash. Certain additional details cannot be confirmed at this time pending investigations.
