How Did This Accident Occur?

The investigation of a single-vehicle accident gets more complicated when there is an indication that alcohol was involved.

Police tend to focus on the crash itself, rather than asking, “Where did the driver get his alcohol?” That matters because Texas law allows bars or restaurants to be held responsible by injuries caused by someone who was served despite being obviously intoxicated.

Identifying where a suspected drunk driver had been drinking is an important part of any investigation into an injury accident like this, because it helps those affected by the crash hold those responsible for it accountable.
