San Antonio, TX — June 2, 2024, one person was killed following a single-car accident at approximately 1:30 a.m. along U.S. Highway 90.
According to authorities, a man was traveling in an eastbound Toyota Camry on U.S. 90 in the vicinity of the Military Drive West intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that the Camry may have been traveling at high speeds leading up to the accident. The vehicle reportedly crashed into a traffic attenuator which divides the active freeway lanes and the exit ramp for as yet unknown reasons. The man incurred reportedly fatal injuries due to the wreck; he was declared deceased at the scene.
