Dewitt County, TX — December 18, 2023, Michael Felchsig was killed in a motorcycle versus truck accident at approximately 3:50 in the afternoon along S.H. 119.
According to reports, 65-year-old Michael Flechsig was traveling on a southbound Suzuki motorcycle on State Highway 119 approaching the Sunday Lane intersection when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a northbound 18-wheeler on S.H. 119 attempted a left turn onto Sunday Lane at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the southbound motorcycle and the front right of the 18-wheeler. Michael Flechsig was declared deceased at the scene of the accident. No additional injuries have been reported.
