Lamb County, TX — August 31, 2025, Mark Salinas was injured as the result of a car accident at around 8:35 p.m. along Delano Avenue.
According to preliminary details about the accident, it happened at the Delano Ave. and Eastside Avenue/US 385 intersection.
Investigators said that 36-year-old Mark Salinas was in a Hyundai Santa Cruz going along southeast Delano. While doing so, the vehicle somehow left its lane, and a crash occurred.
Mark Salinas reportedly had serious injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident.

People often see only one person involved in a crash, and they just assume that person did something wrong. However, it’s important to have all the facts before trying to draw conclusions. There can be mechanical defects, tire blowouts, road hazards, medical emergencies, hit-and-run drivers, etc. Likely or not, these are the sorts of things I would want to see from an accident reconstruction. That’s why if authorities don’t dig into these possible factors, it’s possible they’re overlooking important details rather than making sure the story is told fairly.
