Dallas, TX — June 20, 2024, Leslie Freeney was injured following a car accident at approximately 9:30 a.m. along Westmoreland Road.

According to authorities, 22-year-old Leslie Freeney was traveling in a southbound Nissan Versa on Westmoreland Road at the westbound Tom Landry Freeway service road intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a northbound Chevrolet Cobalt on Westmoreland Road attempted a left turn on a yellow light at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic. This resulted in a collision between the front-end of the Cobalt and the front-left quarter of the Versa.

Freeney suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck; she was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
